Greeting Card Tutorial using Lace Paper

Hi Friends,

Today I am posting a tutorial for a beautiful, simple and elegant card using lace paper/paper doilies.


Materials Required:
1) Card Stock
2) Designer paper
3) Lace Paper
4) Flowers and other embelishments
5) Glue
6) Double sided tape
7) Siscors



STEP 1:
Cut the card stock 6" by 12", fold it length wise to get a base card of 6" by 6"

STEP 2:
Cut the first design paper slightly smaller than the 6" by 6" i.e 5.75"by5.75"
The other two paper 2.25" by 2.25"


STEP 3:
Paste the first desing paper using glue to the base card. as shown in the above pic.

STEP 5:
Stick the other two design papers using double sided tape on the base card, as shown below.
This with give the card a nice 3D effect.




STEP 6:
Now, stick the lace paper in the center.

STEP 7:
Make a ribbon bow and stamp/print the sentiment that you want to put on the card.

Set the flowers in the way you would like to put them on the card, just to finalize the way in which you want to put them on the card.


STEP 8:
Stick the ribbon using fabric glue.
Sentiment using double sided tape and the flowers/embellishments using fabric glue/glue gun;
and your simle but beautiful card is ready.
