Hello Everybody!

Today I am going to share the tutorial on How to make Candy Boxes.
Continue reading below for tutorial:

Materials Required:

  • Paper
  • Pencil, Scale
  • Scissors/Paper cutter
  • Scoring tool
  • Glue
  • Ribbon

STEP 1:
Cut a square piece of paper measuring 7.5inch:

STEP 2:
Score the paper on two opposite sides at 1", 1.5" and 2". Shown below:

STEP 3 :
Score the paper on the remaining opposite sides at every 1.25". As shown below:

Now the sheet will look like this:

STEP 4:

Divide the 1.5"line in the first 1.25" block in approx 3 equal parts. Then draw diamonds shapes as shown below:

STEP 5:
Now, cut along all these diamonds on one side first, which will make the paper look like this:
and then on the second side:

 STEP 6:
Now, on every 1" by 1.25" block made on the edges of the paper, draw V shape as shown below and cut along them.

Now the paper will look like this:

STEP 7:
Make crisp fold on the line scored in step 2.
First fold the along the 2" line so the the two wrong sides of paper are together. As shown below:
Second fold on the 1.5" line in the opposite direction. As shown below:
Third, fold on the 1" line opposite to second fold (fan like). As shown below:
Repeat the process on the other side as well. This will make the paper look like this:

STEP 8:
Fold along all the 1.25" lines (made in step 3) and apply glue on one of edge of the paper. As shown below:
Stick this to the other edge by overlapping it on the other edge of the paper (covering one full block)
This will leave you with a 3D box with 5 sides.

Push in the fan like folds and shape the box.

Fill in the cookies and tie it up on both ends with the help of ribbons. Decorate more if you wish. The ready box will look like this:

I hope you will find this tutorial easy to try at home. If you have any queries please feel free to leave your comments below. I would also love to see the boxes that you have made, so do post in the pics in comments below. Till then,
